Living Lab Framework established

Europe-LAND aims to influence future land-use decisions and support climate change mitigation and biodiversity conservation efforts. As such, it is crucial to understand the perspectives of various local and national stakeholders who are making relevant decisions on land-use. The Europe-LAND team developed a Living Lab Framework, outlining proposed actions to actively engage stakeholders in each partner country to explore their awareness about climate change and biodiversity challenges, and to identify the problems, expectations and local characteristics they are facing in their local contexts when it comes to land-use decisions. The results are aimed to be used by all project partners to adapt their research methods and simulation tools to properly address the real-life challenges experienced by the involved actors in terms of adopting sustainable land use management in the context of climate change.
