Verso un uso sostenibile del suolo in Europa

Il progetto di ricerca europeo "Towards Sustainable Land-Use in the Context of Climate Change and Biodiversity in Europe (in breve: Europe-LAND)" mira a sviluppare, testare e implementare strumenti integrati che possano migliorare la nostra comprensione dei fattori alla base delle decisioni sull'uso del suolo in Europa. Inoltre, Europe-LAND mira a esplorare la consapevolezza e l'impegno degli stakeholder del settore agricolo e dell'uso del suolo in relazione alle sfide del cambiamento climatico e della biodiversità. Il nostro consorzio si sforza di ampliare la base di conoscenze su come le decisioni di uso del suolo possano essere influenzate per sostenere in modo efficiente e socialmente responsabile obiettivi politici quali la mitigazione e l'adattamento ai cambiamenti climatici e la conservazione della biodiversità. Infine, le nostre attività di divulgazione mobiliteranno i nostri stakeholder (ad esempio, gli utenti del territorio, le autorità locali, regionali e nazionali, i responsabili delle politiche, le agenzie di regolamentazione, ecc.
