From 24 to 30 August 2024, a group of researchers from Europe-LAND are attending the 35^th International Geographical Congress held in Dublin, Ireland. In the frame of the congress, Dr Mihaela Sima from the Romanian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Geography, Romania, and Dr Lucie Kupkova, Charles University, Faculty of Science, Department of Applied Geoinformatics and Cartography, Prague, Czech Republic, are organizing a special capacity building session (see conference programme): Session C29 (29th August, 8:30-10:00h) is devoted to sharing best practice examples and tools of land use and land management strategies to promote climate change adaptation and biodiversity conservation. Join our colleagues for a compact session on current matters related to land use, and land management considering climate change and impacts on biodiversity and/or use the change for personal networking.
