The Europe-LAND project just launched the dedicated podcast series “European Land Use Talks” this week.
In periodic episodes the series will dive into various topics related to land use, climate change and biodiversity conservation in Europe.
Hosted by the coordination office of the project, HAW Hamburg, the podcast invites guests from the project consortium and beyond to broaden the discussion on sustainable land use practices.
The first episode was just released this week. In this first episode, we sit down with the coordinator and head of Europe-LAND, Prof. Dr. Walter Leal. Together, we explore the background and inspiration behind the EU-funded project Europe-LAND. What motivated the idea of the project? What role do such projects play in shaping political decisions in Europe? And what kind of impact can they have on politics and other areas?
