On June 25 & 26, 2025, over 30 of Europe-LAND’s partners gathered in Nitra, Slovakia for an engaging two days of discussion surrounding progress made in the first two years of the project and continue looking forward to the future.
Hosted at partner university, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, the Third Annual General Assembly allowed for in-person collaboration across all seven work packages (WPs) rooted in reflection and ambition. After a welcome from Danka Moravčíková (Slovak University of Agriculture, Slovakia) and Franziska Wolf (HAW Hamburg, Germany), leaders from WP 1-5 updated on past achievements and plans for the duration of the project. On the second day, WP 6 and 7 leaders presented on the same topics, followed by three special sessions on Europe-LAND case studies, potential for improved data links between WPs, and MOOC modules. The meeting wrapped up with an anticipatory action planning discussion about risk and gender management. After these impactful sessions and a gracious goodbye from Franziska Wolf, partners returned to their home countries to continue their good work within the Europe-LAND project!
