With an impressive track record of supervising Ph.D. students and authoring scientific articles, his expertise significantly enhances the Europe-LAND project&#8217;s research capabilities. Prof. K\u013cavi\u0146\u0161&#8217; leadership in various interdisciplinary projects showcases his ability to integrate circular economy and bioeconomy approaches into environmental research, making substantial contributions towards sustainable land-use strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong><em>Karina Stankevi\u010da<\/em><\/strong>, Ph.D., a leading researcher at the Faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences of the University of Latvia, has a robust academic and research background in environmental science. With a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences, her expertise spans landscape architecture to digital visualization. Stankevi\u010da has contributed significantly to projects on sustainable land use and peat-free soil amendments, reflecting her dedication to environmental sustainability.
