Výmena expertov
Aimed at experts from academia, research, policy, and practice, partners engage with a wide range of experts on topics such as land use, modelling, policy, and methodological approaches. These exchanges take place through workshops, events, conferences, and ongoing collaborations, including contributions to specific tasks and joint publications. The aim is to foster meaningful exchange and create mutual benefits by combining project insights with external expertise.
Dialóg o vedeckej politike
To better align research outcomes with the priorities and needs of the European Commission, Europe-LAND organizes an annual policy dialogue. This process brings together EU representatives and Horizon Europe projects working on land-use and land-cover change to exchange insights, identify policy needs, and develop joint recommendations.
The policy dialogue is structured in four steps:
Step 1 (2024) – A virtual roundtable with relevant Horizon Europe projects to identify key policy issues, initial recommendations, and open questions. EU representatives are also invited to contribute their perspectives.
Step 2 (2025) – A workshop with project partners to refine priority policy areas, define thematic sub-categories, and further explore the questions identified in Step 1.
Step 3 (2026) – A joint workshop with EU representatives to discuss the results of previous steps, align findings with policy objectives, and identify remaining knowledge and research gaps.
Step 4 (2027) – A public presentation of the policy dialogue outcomes as part of the Europe-LAND final conference.
